Janauary Life Update

It’s time for a much needed update from me. I vaguely hinted at this in one of my past posts but after almost a year of being at an unpaid internship at the end of 2013 I finally landed myself a full-time paid job. The best part being it’s in the industry I’ve wanted to be a part of since I was a little kid and the reason I went to University to study Marketing. It was a nice personal feeling to know that I made the correct decision for me personally when I took that unpaid internship. I highly doubt I would have gotten to where I am now without it.

(Un)fortunately, the job keeps me insanely busy so I don’t have as much time to blog anymore like I used to. However, doesn’t mean I’m still not going to be updating as much as I can!

2014 has already started off with some travelling. I spent New Year’s Eve in Chicago with friends as we went party hopping from location to location. The only downside to it was the insane cold and snowstorm that hit the area. Luckily my flight home to Toronto was one of the few that weren’t cancelled that day!

This past weekend I headed down south for my good friend Heather’s wedding in Waco! It was such a blast, and also got to visit Austin for the first time and check out the area.

The flash there makes us all look a little evil there. Still, congratualtions again Heather!
