Hobbies & Interests

I’m into the generic hobbies individuals are into such as listening to music, watching movies and playing video games. However, there are a few other hobbies I like to spend my free time with.

Coin Collecting

I collect Canadian coins and bank notes. For the past few years I was casually interested in coins as the Royal Canadian Mint released special edition coins for various events like the Vancouver Olympics. However, it wasn’t until 2011 when my aunt passed down my great grandfather’s coin collection to me, that I became more serious about collecting. Since then I’ve spent many hours collecting, purchasing, and organizing coins!

I’m a huge foodie. I love eating food, I love the smell of food, I simply love food. Let’s be real though, who doesn’t? We need it to live! I love to try out new recipes, and to taste new flavours.

Cake Decorating

Along with cooking, I’m interested in baking and decorating. The idea that you can literally turn almost any creative idea you have into a cake, cookie or other baked good design is exciting for me. This is a relatively new hobby for me, but it’s something I really want to learn more about. No more store bought baked goods for me!

Roller Coasters

Nothing thrills me more than plunging downhill at 80 mph with my hands up in the air. I love going on any form of amusement park ride, with roller coasters being at the top of the list. The faster they are, the bigger the drops, the better they are!

(Ok, not a roller coaster, but it’s the only picture I’ve bought from an Amusement Park.)
