Post Trip Blues

I have returned home from my trip to Gavelston, Texas! As all my friend’s photos start piling in on Facebook I’ll write a blog post about our crazy adventures. I can tell you we all had a blast! However, with a trip such as this with non-stop laughter, it is tough to come back home to the daily routine of normal life. I usually call it ‘post trip blues’ and it’s not a feeling I enjoy at all.

It’s a little hard to explain, but it feels like there’s just something missing in your life and you having that sinking feeling in your heart. I figure it’s only a natural reaction to missing something, and I already miss all my friends! I also have to look on the bright side of it. I wouldn’t be feeling this right now if I didn’t have an amazing time, it just further reminds me that I really care about all the people who were on that trip!

I’m excited to get up my post about the vacation though!

Edit – Hah! It looks like the post trip blues is a legit phenomena. Can read about it here!
